The historical framework
In December 2024, Turbine Team described a five-stage “Knowledge-Talent” cycle: capture work knowledge, structure it, use it in learning, develop talent, and measure the result. It was an implementation proposal, not evidence of a finished integration.
The original manufacturing example gave precise changes in defects and competency scores without a named employer or study. Those outcomes cannot support an Apprentage performance claim.
Adapt the sequence to an approved occupation
Capture: Identify a real task in the approved work-process schedule. Preserve the apprentice's account of the work and the relevant context, without recording unnecessary sensitive information.
Structure: Map the task to the correct process and competency. If the classification is ambiguous, send it to a qualified reviewer; do not count a model suggestion as completion.
Use and develop: Compare the evidence with the instruction plan. The mentor observes the next task, gives feedback, and records whether the apprentice demonstrated the required skill.
Measure and improve: Review missing tasks, delayed approvals, and instruction gaps with the sponsor and employer. Only compare outcomes once a baseline and observation period exist.
The 2023 VELA approval demonstration illustrates one historical review step. For today's Apprentage workflow, ask to follow the complete chain in a demo, without assuming every 2024 Turbine module is available.
