Library of Agile on Turbine: an apprenticeship instruction lesson

Jun 2, 2022 — by Josh Studl

From the Turbine Workforce archive. Historical organizations and product names describe the work at the time, not current Apprentage customer relationships.

In June 2022, Turbine welcomed the Library of Agile to its customer community. The original announcement named Pete Oliver-Kruger and his repository of Agile instruction and tools; it anticipated developing job and leadership skills for managers and leaders.

Historical scope

This was a Turbine customer announcement, not a report of apprentices trained, leadership outcomes or Library of Agile's use of Apprentage. The post described a direction for the partnership rather than measured results.

Relevance for sponsors

When Agile methods are relevant to an occupation, a sponsor can pair instruction about team practices with supervised work where apprentices demonstrate them. A content library alone cannot show that an apprentice applied those skills on the job.

Apprentage supports sponsors by coordinating related instruction and OJT evidence within program records. That is the current apprenticeship workflow, distinct from the 2022 Turbine partnership.
