These are historical Turbine release notes from January 4, 2022, not a current Apprentage feature announcement. They describe course-delivery tools that illustrate why related instruction needs clear pacing and completion records.
What changed in Turbine
The Course Console's Content tab retained topics, while settings and course branding moved to their own tabs. “Control Flow” was renamed “Course Pacing”; administrators could require completion of a prerequisite course before granting access to another.
Settings renamed “Categories” to “Tags” and “Overview” to “Long Description.” A course video embed could appear on the invitation page; branding held the image and color settings.
Course reporting covered enrollment, completion and skills gain. Form Challenges added short text, long text, file upload and multiple-choice responses, with HTML-capable question descriptions; URL challenges remained available.
Why sponsors should care
Course prerequisites and learner responses can support related instruction, but they do not by themselves establish OJT completion or program compliance. Sponsors need to connect instruction records with the apprentice's actual work and oversight.
Today, Apprentage supports that broader apprenticeship recordkeeping workflow. The functionality above belongs to the dated Turbine release; it should not be read as a guarantee of identical screens or settings in Apprentage.
